If you’ve been eager to get a taste of the Norwegian Epic, then we’ve got good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that you’ll have to travel to Europe in order to hop on board, as the Epic will be doing cruises in the Mediterranean through the end of the year. What’s the good news, you ask? The good news is that you can travel to Europe to take awesome cruises through the Mediterranean on this absolutely amazing boat, of course!
If you’re going to do that, though, then you’ll need to choose between all of the awesome itineraries that the Epic will be running. As it so happens, the Epic will be doing a number of different “cruisetours” throughout the year, where passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy extended stays in some of Europe’s most famous destinations, including Rome and the Vatican City!
Given the number of choices available, we thought we’d make things easy for you by selecting four of the hottest cruises the Norwegian Epic will be embarking on in 2015. So come take a look, and decide which one of these awesome Mediterranean cruises is going to be right for you!
1. 6-Day Iberian Peninsula from Barcelona (September 2015)
If you want to catch this cruise, you’ll have to catch the Norwegian when it’s in port in Barcelona.
From there, the Norwegian Epic will ferry its passengers to the beautiful Spanish town of Cartagena.
Next up, is a stop of Granada, where you can disembark to gain an appreciation for the medieval architecture that abounds.
After that stop, the Norwegian Epic heads to Lisbon, Portugal, one of the gems of Europe!
Heading out from the Portuguese coastline, the Norwegian Epic heads to its final destination, the historic city of Southampton, England.
2. 8-Day Rome & The Vatican Tour (September 2015)
If you’ve always wanted to spend time exploring Rome and the Vatican, then this cruise is the one for you.
For four days, you and the other passengers will have the opportunity to head out on foot and to experience everything Rome has to offer.
And, of course, you’ll be able to spend time on guided tours of Vatican city, as well!
After those first four days, the Norwegian Epic will head out, stopping at a number of cities along the Mediterranean, including Cannes, France.
Finally, the Norwegian Epic will arrive at its final destination of the cruise, the wondrous city of Barcelona.
3. 9-Day Canary Islands & Morocco from Barcelona (December 2015)
This 9-day tour will give passengers of the Norwegian Epic to experience life on the Mediterranean in two forms.
That’s because the first destination, after the Epic disembarks from Barcelona, is Tangier.
Tangier has long been a favored enclave of artists, musicians and poets, and once you experience it, it will be easy to understand why.
After the stop in Tangier, the Epic heads out to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands.
Finally, the Epic will take you and your travel companions to Granada before depositing you back in Barcelona.
4. 11-Day Art & Architecture Tour of Barcelona Cruisetour (October 2015)
This is another one of the stunning cruisetours that the Epic will be taking this year. This one allows you to spend four days in Barcelona.
After taking in all that Barcelona has to offer, the Epic heads to Italy, where you’ll get the chance to check out Naples.
From Naples, the Epic will head to Rome for a brief stay before heading to Venice, where you can check out the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Then you’ll head to one of France’s most famous cities, Cannes, which is the well-known site of the annual film festival.
Finally, the Epic will return you to Barcelona, where you can spend more time enjoying the art and architecture that you’ve been introduced to.
