When it comes to amusement parks in Southern California, there’s a lot of competition. You’ve got Disneyland down in Anaheim, and you’ve also got Universal Studios over in Hollywood. But there’s another big player in the area, and it’s one that shouldn’t be ignored. That big player is called Six Flags Magic Mountain, and it’s located just north of downtown Los Angeles in Valencia.
Six Flags Magic Mountain will give anyone who comes more thrills, chills and spills than they ever hoped to receive. The park is home to over 15 different roller coasters, each offering a unique riding experience. As a matter of fact, there’s even one that puts passengers in chairs that spin 360 degrees, which creates a truly disorienting experience. Of course, there are plenty of rides perfect for the younger set; they will also enjoy the fact that the Looney Tunes act as the park’s mascots (along with the Justice League).
So, come take a tour of Six Flags Magic Mountain, and decide for yourself if it’s the top dog when it comes to Southern California amusement parks. Oh, and be sure you stay tuned until #34 if you want to get a sneak peak at the new roller coaster that Six Flags Magic Mountain will be debuting later this year.
