As more and more cruise ships roll out of shipyards every month, fans of Carnival have been wondering when the popular cruise line is going to debut its latest and greatest. The answer is sometime in 2016, and the name of their newest vessel is going to be Vista. This ship is going to be massive, and it’s going to feature amenities that aren’t just new to Carnival, but are also new to cruise ships in general.
Carnival is putting an estimated $800 million into this new ship, which is being built in Italy by Fincantieri. While she won’t be the largest cruise ship ever built, she’ll be up there. And, when she debuts she’ll be largest in Carnival’s line by a margin. Of course, size isn’t what counts to the cruising vacationer; it’s what’s on board. Vista, simply put, has the big-time amenities – like an IMAX theater, for example – to live up to it’s massive size and people’s massive expectations.
So, come take a look at the Carnival Vista, and learn the 23 things you absolutely need to know about it. After seeing artist’s depictions of what the ship is going to look like, you’ll probably wish there was a way to instantly turn these 3D renderings into a reality!
