In only a few months, Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) is set to debut the latest eye-popping ship in its line, the Norwegian Joy. While NCL continues to be mum about some of the details surrounding this ship, some photos have emerged.
With a gross tonnage of 168,000, the Norwegian Joy will be one of the largest in NCL’s line. Capable of carrying up to 3,900 passengers at any given time, it’s probably fairer to call this a floating city rather than a cruise ship!
If you’re a fan of NCL’s cruise ships and are looking forward to what’s next, then come take an advanced tour of the Norwegian Joy in the 15 pictures that follow. And if you like what you see, then remember that this ship will begin operating out of China in the Summer of 2017!
1. An Instant Beauty
As with other NCL ships, the Norwegian Joy will feature elaborate artwork on its exterior, ensuring this ship always turns heads when it rolls into port.
2. A First
Cruise ships are outdoing one another with onboard activities lately, and the joy will be the first cruise ship in the world to feature an on-deck race track!
3. New Experiences
The race track isn’t the only exciting thing! The ship will also feature the “Galaxy Pavilion” that will have everything from bumper hover cars to VR experiences.
