In 2012, Princess Cruises unveiled its newest ship the Royal Princess. However, it wouldn’t be Princess Cruises’ newest ship for long, because its sister ship, the Regal Princess, was set to debut in 2014. And, sure enough, over this past summer the Regal Princess began sailing the world. After a brief stint operating out of Italy, the ship arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which it is currently calling its homeport.
Fans of the Royal Princess will find a lot to like in the Regal Princess. That’s because they both feature many of the same things, including the exhilarating SkyWalk. The similarities between the two ships don’t end there, though. They’re actually almost physically identical, and they both carry the same number of passengers and crew.
All of that said, don’t let the similarities fool you. The Regal Princess has a personality all of her own, something that comes through when you check out these amazing photos. So come take a virtual tour of Princess Cruise Lines’ newest and most advanced ship. And, if you haven’t seen the SkyWalk before, wait until you get to #9 and #10!
