Located a short ferry ride away from St. John’s, you’ll find a beach that’s unlike many others in the Caribbean.

Volcanic activity on the island of Montserrat has created beaches that are comprised of volcanic black sand.

To say that this beach in Roseau, Dominica, is intoxicating would be to put things mildly.

The beach gets its name for the volcanic vents on the ocean floor, which give the water the appearance of champagne.
